In Kantian philosophy, space and time are necessary forms of perception that precede any experience. Anything we perceive always already has spatial and temporal qualities. For Kant, these qualities are products of imagination that the subject reads into the reality to make sense of it.

What things-in-themselves are beyond subjective forms of perception, we don't know. Do values belong to the objective reality? Is freedom real? The game Space? invites a moment of transcendental reflection.
